Hi, I'm Marie-Lou!

In September 2022, I proudly graduated with honours from the RITCS School Of Art in Brussels, earning my bachelor's degree in Film & TV Production. This achievement followed my initial foray into the audiovisual industry as a Production Assistant on the show "Liefdestips Aan Mezelf," produced by Potemkino. Additionally, I successfully conceived and produced a proof of concept for a web series as part of my bachelor's thesis.

My passion lies in storytelling, driving me to embark on projects and events that carry significant messages or make impactful statements. This same motivation is what propelled me into the realm of production.

Presently, I am actively seeking opportunities within the audiovisual sector, aspiring to contribute as a Production Assistant. I aim to broaden my horizons and hone the skills I acquired during my academic journey. With more experience, my ultimate ambition is to ascend to the role of a seasoned producer.

Diverse experiences across various domains have equipped me with a distinctive and pragmatic approach to confront any challenge, guaranteed to bring great results. This proficiency has been cultivated through a myriad of projects and internships.

Serving as a board member and organizer at The Rainbow Team (RT), I gained invaluable expertise in orchestrating events for audiences exceeding 400. Meanwhile, my time at Inner Voice Artists instilled in me the ability to operate seamlessly across different time zones and handle sensitive information with utmost care. At Bounce Rocks, I witnessed firsthand the velocity at which productions can unfold, dispelling the notion that a large team is requisite for triumph. Moreover, my brainchild, Beyond The Dance, a dance ensemble I established at the age of 18, underscored the significance of patience in collaborative endeavours with friends, while also imparting the art of synchronising the schedules of over 20 individuals for regular meetings, classes and events.
